We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of the Service to do the same.
1. Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe content hosted on Screenzor infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at legal@screenzor.com that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information to locate it on the Service (e.g. the shared link);
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
This process follows the notice requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) (the US DMCA). We will honor properly substantiated notices from users outside the US as well, applying the same process even though the formal statutory safe harbor described here is a US mechanism; equivalent frameworks exist elsewhere (e.g. Article 17 of the EU's Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive).
2. Counter-Notification
If you believe content you posted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@screenzor.com containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, your name, address, and telephone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the US, any judicial district in which Screenzor may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
3. Repeat Infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
