Sharing & review
When you publish a recording, Screenzor stores it in the cloud and gives you a link anyone can open. Collaborators who are signed in can leave timestamped comments (marked BETA), add emoji reactions, and use thumbs up/down on the engagement bar. Activity on shared recordings can surface in the notification bell and on the Messages page. Pro typically unlocks backup, HD capture, and sharing. See Pricing for current limits.
Ask AI
The ✨ Ask AI pill (bottom-right) opens the in-app assistant. It knows Screenzor routes, your library, and product basics. Useful when you are learning the watch page, Edit Studio, or publish flow.
The watch page
Every recording opens on a dedicated watch page. The video or image sits front and center with a modern player: play/pause, volume, captions when a transcript exists, theater mode, picture-in-picture, and likes in the footer.
On large screens, the right sidebar uses tabs so you can switch without leaving the page:
- Activity: comments, suggested review tasks, and discussion (when enabled).
- Edit: quick edit shortcuts inline; crop and Edit Studio open in focused overlays when you need more space.
- Generate: AI-assisted tools tied to the recording.
- Transcript: generate and read speech-to-text.
- Settings: audience, comments, and watch-page options.
The main toolbar above the video holds share, download, edit (opens the full edit picker), and delete. Emoji reactions appear under the player. Pick reactions from the smile button and they show up on the bar.
Editing
Screenzor edits run in your browser. No desktop editor required. Use the sidebar Edit tab for fast actions, or the top Edit button for the full tool picker. Edit Studio is the timeline-style workspace for video (trim, speed, filters, overlays) and a dedicated flow for images (crop, look, export). Heavy steps like crop open in a modal so the watch layout stays usable on mobile.
What the labels on your library mean
On your dashboard, each recording can show a small colored label. Here is what each one means in everyday words.
- Published
Published
Sharing is on for this recording. Anyone with the link can open the public watch page. This label is per video, not your account plan name.
- Pro
Pro
You are on the paid plan, and a copy of this recording is saved online in your account as a backup. It stays private until you publish it or send a share link.
- Free
Free
You are on the free plan. A copy may still be backed up online if you chose backup. The file stays private unless you publish or share a link (sharing usually needs Pro).
- On this device
On this device
This file lives only in this browser on this computer or phone. If you clear site data or switch devices, open Screenzor where you originally saved it, or use Pro backup when available.
Quick tip: A separate tag such as MP4 only describes file format, not whether the recording is public.
